HYDRAULIC TURBINES

Within the framework of electrical power systems, turbines are an example of planning and building carried out by ESPE directly.

They can be Pel ton, Francis or Kaplan turbines.

On the basis of the system parameters involved in the project, whether the system in question is in existence or is being optimised, planning and calculation phases are carried out, followed by the implementation phase.

Any setting is based on the characteristics of the plant, its installing conditions and the customer’s requirements.

Each project is obviously customised and aims to optimise the system output.

Our dedicated Planning Office, having detected and collected data, determines the Size of the project as a very first thing.

Then the Hydraulic Profile Type is defined; this is a phase of the utmost importance to obtain the best possible output.

The finish of all surfaces in contact with the water is also of the utmost importance in order to achieve this result; all works in every phase are carried out with the utmost care.

The final test on the functioning of the system is the final one in the building of a new turbine.
